cd rom has disappered!!!

im back with another problem, this time regarding my PC... we have it updated by a pro..andh ad a new dirve installed! i added some soft ware ot my computer.. but now for some reason after downloading NERO, the cd rom programme seems oth ave disappeared.. can anyoen help???

try uninstalling nero and see if ur drive comes bak .. if it does than its a problem with nero . how many drives do u hav in ur comp? cuz once i installed a software relating to my cdrom nd da cd rom dissappeared, i hd to go to disk management to change the drive letter and das how i got it bak.

sorry, i didnt explain it clearly.. i can see it on my computer space but wheneveri load a cd in nothing comes up! i habve uninstalled nero already!

ohh so ur saying you can see ur cd rom on my computer but when you put a cd in, nothing happens? Was your cd rom working before you insatlled nero? nero busted my cd writer once.. i ended it in da middle nd my burner got busted. i had to send it in nd it took a whole month ..
