Changing channels

i have an ac97 and i would like to know what program i need to change the channels from 5.1 channels to a simple 2.1 so i can make the microphone slot work

If you have the correct driver from your mobo manufacturer then it should work!!!!!

i got asus mainboard and the drivers on their website don't contain such a program

Which asus mobo do you have? I use an asus k8v-x and i have no problems at all!!!!

Sorry, the link doesn't show the same results, you will have to search for motherboard, socket 754, k8u-x, in the boxes top right then look at audio!!!
