Chemei review

Hello all.
Does anyone have anything to say about the brand Chemei? i seem to have found that it comes from Taiwan but I want to know if it is a good brand to buy an LCD monitor from? The monitor is: here

I bought a 17" LCD CMV brand, made by Chimei, from Newegg last year for my father. No dead pixels and it surprised me that it looked great, especially considering the low price and that I had never heard of them before.
