Clevo vs. Dell

Well my mom isnt letting my buy a new notebook until she finds some good reviews on the two we are looking at. so i need some advice she needs to know what computer savy people would rather have, considering the performance and computer service.

the first option is the Clevo D900C:

the second being the Dell XPS m1710:

with 2,16 Ghz processor, 2 GB ram, 512 MB video card, integrated sound cards, and 8X CD/DVD Burner

I would recommend the Dell. Ive had many Dells in the past and never had any problems with them.
