Clock going much to fast..

Hey there, my computer clock in the bottom right hand corner is going way way way to fast. When i was watching it..it appeared that the second hand would go really quick for five seconds, then pause, then go quick again..and repeat this cycle constantly. I was wondering if anybody knew a thing about this. Thanks.

Did you have anything process intensive running at the time?

It's more likely that the computer's time is actually correct, but the clock display is getting bogged down.

Well it happens even when you don't run programs. Example...i left for school, no programs were running, came back and the clock was way ahead of time.

Are you syncing to an internet time source?

remove option 'automatically synchrnise with an internet time server' in the date and time properties, then disable your windows time service.
