Either a bad install, or bad components. What happens when you go bak to your 512 MB module. If good, run memsys86 on your new memory module.

Thanks

I'll have to wait till tomorrow to try it as my computer is at mum's house and she has gone to bed. As to the memsys86 what is it and how do i do it :)
