i have a amd x2 64 3600+
big 7600 gt
1 gb ram
asus m2n-e mobo
onboard soundmax hd audio
all games i play coh , graw2 hang with sound looping in the background
i.e. hanging is accompanied by recurring sound .....once only once onrestart microsoft error report indicated that there was some problem with the audio hardware and told to install updates for sound ..... asusual there were no updates available ... i then reduced the sound hardware acceleration in dxdiag from full to standard ......still problem persists ........also for most hangups there is no event recorded in event viewer (how is this possible)
before this my two usb ports have stopped working and i switched the ram positions (think my other two slots are not working properly ).....how to find out whether the problem is related to mobo ,ram ,videocard ,audio.......
