Compter not starting up.

I have been working on a friends computer for a while now and cannot figure out what the problem is I start up the computer press f1 and everything is goning fine until it reaches the the pci device listing page and it just stays there saying verifiying for data pool i have replaced the processor, motherboard, powersupply and the heatsink and fan. I am about to try a different hard-drive but if you have any suggestions now they would help.

okay I guess it wasn't the hard drive any other suggestions.

I'm curious, does the computer boot up normally if you don't press F1. If so, it appears that something is wrong with the BIOS. You can try reflashing the BIOS. Good luck!

try resetting the cmos as per the mobo's manual instructs (or take the battery out for more than 10 mins)
