Computer Freeze and Random Resarts

I installed an older mobo cpu combo, msi and amd xp 1.2 mgz. I did a raw format and fresh install of windows. The computer runs well and all temps are good. It will somtimes freeze and sometimes restart. What could be the cause of this?

Check out your power supply's label. How many amperes does it provide on the 12 V rail(s)?

My system did this, It was the hard drive, open your case and listen, when it restarts if you hear a click it is that.

I don't know if I am reading it right. 12v1=16 12v2=16 12v 0.8a

Umm, dual 16A 12V rails. That's pretty good. Could be your RAM. Test it using Memtest86, and let it run for several passes.
