Computer problem

So I just got all the parts for my new computer today and I conencted everything and plugged it in and everything satrted working (All fans/cpu/graphics card) but the screen just stays black the bios screen doesn't come up...is this because something is wrong with my graphics card or because I screwed something up?

Have you plugged in the 12v CPU power connector?

Both the ATX_12v and the PCIE_12v are plugged in, ahh wait the CPU power connecter :X let me check I believe it is. thats the same as the ATX o.O
