Computer Seems to Restart when it wants to

Hey, I am running windows xp home, lately my computer has just been rebooting when ever it wants to.... or so i think, i dont think it does it at the same time but if is is maybe theres something i can fix in my setting.. not sure how to get there. maybe a virus does this im not sure. hit me back with anything you have on it. thanks.
