Computer won't shut off

I just got done building a computer but when I go to shutdown the screen shuts down but the computer fans and lights on the board continue to run. HELP>
It is an amd 64 3000+ on an epox board. It is the nforce 4 ultra board.

i not sure but it may be that you haven't enabled the auto shutdown feature. I have this same problem with an old p2 of mine. it works fine with windows 2000 but then on windows 98 it does exactly what your computer does. for me i just switch it off when the screen goes off... if not then i dono what to do unless enable the acpi feature. that might do the trick... :grinthumb

Everything was enabled. I have come to find out it was a bios issue. I downloaded the bios one more time and it works great now. Wierd.
