Computer won't turn on

Hi last night my son was on the computer and when he was finished and back at the desk top he pushed the windosa key and uu . this mon=rning we tried to use the computer and it is dead won't do anything ... any help suggestions? we have tried all the power tricks and still nothing
any help would be greatly appreciated

What exactly were the "power tricks" you tried? No lights and no fans at all? You can't "kill" a PC by using any keyboard sequence. You can corrupt a hard drive, but this "dead" system needs a new power supply first... after you check all on-off switches and power cord connections

With regards to your problem, try going inside your pc and shorting the pins where the power button connects. If the pc doesn't start up then try this tutorial: Suspect a Dead PSU? How to be sure
