Concern about heat

i;ve bought a dell laptop, now awaiting for the delivery

2.2MGhz duo core 2
4GB DDR 2 667Mhz
250Sata drive
256MB Nvidia 8600M GT

Currently, because i already bought crysis and wanna to try it on my new laptop, just concern that while i'm playing crysis, heat of my laptop will increasing, and i might need a cooler pad, i still hesitating on it whether i need it or not>?

could someone give some comments.

The laptop is deisgned to run, it will not melt under 100% load If it does, have it replaced under warranty.

Just don't put it on a blanket or something that would block the air intakes.

Of course, the life of the thing will shorten if it has to run at full loads for long amounts of time, so you may consider exra cooling solutions if you plan to overload the machine for days at a time.

Compusa's going out of business sales have some great notebook coolers for 20-40% from what I saw. I had a 6800 mobile unit on a 2 year old laptop and I needed the cooling pad, im sure youll need it for the new 8600 model to.

ok then i'm going to get an aluminum cooling pad,well i'm pefer destop, especially for gaming person like me. Due do my job at ovearsea, so lead me no choose have to buy a laptop. Anyway thank for the precious comments.
