Connect to Primary or Secondary IDE?

im running a single SATA harddrive and a single dvd burner. the manual for the cdrom says to connect it to the secondary IDE, and set jumper to "master". this is assuming im using a HDD in the primary IDE spot, which i am not. should i connect the cdrom drive to the primary IDE as master?

Set the Sata drive to master and the dvd to slave
