Connection problem with IE7

I can connect fine with Firefox, just not with IE 7. I'm using XP SP 2

When I launch and attempt to use IE I get: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

I ran a diagnostic and got the following:

Last diagnostic run time: 02/16/08 10:32:18 HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic
HTTP, HTTPS, FTP connectivity

info HTTP: Successfully connected to (microsoft)
info FTP (Passive): Successfully connected to ftp (microsoft)
info HTTPS: Successfully connected to (microsoft)

So if IE can connect, why can't I make a connection?

Yes I am typing in the correct address and IE is not offline. No firewall or AV.

Did you check your Internet Options under Tools?

Several times. Any suggestions as to what to look for??
