Connection problems with Steam/CSS

I can refresh server lists and all, but when ever i try joining a game it says "server is not responding" and after that my connection is down so i cant browse or play WOW before i reset my router.. its a Zyxel prestige 2000 series btw.

I am having the same problem, I can get in-game for a few seconds then it displays "connection problem" in the top right hand corner of my screen and 9/10 times my internet connection goes down....I am using BT Home Hub connected wirelessly if that is any help, I think it is my wireless connection but i don't know how to solve it =[

did you set the port forwards as requied?

Steam-1 27000-27015 your-client-ip-address
Steam-2 27020-27050 your-client-ip-address​

Hmmm

I didnt change any ports however I did a steam test and it said that my ports were ok, how would I go about changing these ports if it was required? I really appreciate your help =]

you need to review the firewall documentation for specific syntax,
but the concept is shown in the last post, steam-1/2 are just lables for
readability and you're forwarding a range of ports using xxx-yyy
