Converting to MP3

Okay so basically i need to get something from iTunes (mp4a) to Microsoft MovieMaker (needs to be mp3). How do I convert it? It works in WinAmp and Quicktime, but not in Windows Media Player (Media player is what i have to get to work, because Moviemaker imports audio from there). Any ideas on how to go about getting it to play? Because i can't figure it out.

Buddy download AUDACITY, i did something for school using it. Export you audio or watever you have as MP3. First you might have to import watevery your trying to convert before you have to export.

actually, not solved. i tried to import it and i got this:
""blahblahblah.m4a" is an Advanced Audio Coding File. Audacity cannot open this type of file. You need to convert it to a supported audio format."
Any pointers on how one goes about doing that? I think iTunes just doesnt want me using the file.

Ease made all the iTunes mp4as i put in it into 11 seconds of loud static. Thank you SO MUCH for showing me xilisoft though! You made my weekend, because it took an hour to figure out but im happy that i can finally do my movie! thanks a lot!

You can use yasa mp3 audio converter to convert mp4a to mp3. It works great.
