Correct config for 3 optical drives

I recently purchased a DVR-RW drive from my existing computer which already has a DVD drive and a CDRW drive. First of all, is it possible to connect all the drives at one time. Currently I have the first IDE cable connected to the hard drive and the second IDE connected to the CDRW and DVD as Master and Slave respectively. I know that the DVDRW should be a master, but how should the other drives be connected.

Thanks for your help,
Michael

You will have to put one of the drives as a slave to the hard disk. Depending on what kind of IDE controller you have you may lose HD performance unless one of your optical drives uses ATA66 or above.

The master device should be the one with highest priority so on the secondary IDE you should masterise the drive you will be using the most.

The drive sharing the cable with the HD should be the one you use the least so it wouldn't take away bandwidth from the HD.
