cossie screen area and resolution

cossie here good to be back i have a problem with the screen area i carnt change it from less to more color i only have on option to choose from 16 color i have on other options.i also haveb as start up problem it comes up ibm 00001.exe i have run vorus scan and it didnt help i tryed running reg mech and it didnt fix it i tryed runnig win 98 second edd again and it didnt help and how come it runs out off disc space running fat 32 i tryed backing up c drive and keeped running out off disc space i have delited all files and folders unwanted there are a few questions here hope you can help?
