I have this realy annoying problem using my "OS" (winXP pro SP1)

when i deal with video files (xvid avi) - try to open it or to delete it i get my OS starting to use the CPU at 70-100% without any purpose so It get real pain to do anything on the desktop, i checked what uses the CPU so I see it the Explorer itself. To deal with the problem i just shut the Explorer with the task mannager and reopen it again, that helps. But its VERY annoying, it also doesnt let me delet the files saying other program is using it while its not true.

Anybody who has similar problem of windows locking down your CPU at 70-100% operatin level ill be happy to know how do you deal with it

by the way it doesnt use the HD, only CPU so i cant hear it.

Sounds like an embedded spyware prog,

Go to your dos prompt and delete it from there, it won't put up such a fight.

..and stay away from the pr0n ;)

Search feature is your friend.. Try it with words "explorer" and "avi"..

And believe it or not, some things aren't actually caused by spyware or PSUs.
