crc error,might be hard problem

see i recently bought a new pc with specs:

winxp pro
amd sempron 3000+
2x512 twinmos ram
asus k8n4e deluxe mobo
ati radeon x800gt

so when i try to install nero 6.3 i always get a crc error.i downloaded the file again and the same error occured.then i transfered the same file to my other pc and installed it with no problem.i even formated the hard disk to see if that was the prob,but the error kept occuring

what can be the problem?i assume it might be the hard disk.

Even though you dloaded it again it still sounds like a corrupt file...
Try grabbing the same one but from a different site.
And turn off as many running programs in the background that you can when you retry this.

I can be more specific now since besides the crc error i started randomly geting blue screens like: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA ,PFN_LIST_CORUPPT,and still i cant extract that file.And besides that i tryed to install a game from ISO image and it still gives me crc errors,and that same ISO image installs with no problem on the other pc,thats very weird can somebody help?!
