cursor keeps freezing every few seconds Windows Xp SP2

My cursor keeps freezing every few seconds Windows Xp SP2 but when I install Winxp without SP2, then its ok. So I think the problem is related to SP2. Is there any fix or someting else that can fix this problem.

can it be assumed that you have formatted your hard?
if so was it running ok prior to that when it had sp2 in it?
is the mouse wireless?
is your sp2 an original?

what did you add or remove from your pc about the same time when the problem started?
have you tried updating drivers?

I have two CD where one have winxp 2001(without sp2), another one winxp 2005(with sp2), I tried first one, no problem, but CD one is now corrupted, so I tried CD 2 and installation was fine. But the onmy problem is mouse cursor keeps freezing few seconds afterward. Plz help me to solve this problem.
