D drive Not working

I have used my d drive for months, and suddenly it stop working. My computer could detect I have a D drive but the D drive could not detect I have a cd in it. So I tried rolling back, but I didn't back it up so it didnt work. I tried uninstalling the D drive and restarting the computer. Whne I did that the computer detect my driver and reinstall the driver itself. But it still could not detect the Cd in the driver. What could i do ?

Your CD drive may need cleaning. Did you try with several different CDs and not just one that could be broken?

Yes i did try different Cd, and I did try to clearn my driver(I open the case and clearn out the dust) but it still doesnt work ... should I buy a new driver ?

Cleaning the dust is no good. You have to clean the lens. Either use a cleaning CD or improvise with some cotton and alcohol.
