He did it once and want to do it again.
I want to learn hide this option or set some password on it.

there is an option in the bios under security or boot up which gives you the option to set a password.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

First go into your bios and select the security options.

Then set a password as per the options available.

Make sure that the password is set to be required always.

    Then save and exit bios.

If you are not sure how to do this take a look in your motherboard book.

Now when your computer boots you will be required to enter the password you chose.

The only way your brother can circumvent this is by clearing the cmos which will require him to open the case.

    Regards Howard

NO! No no no no no-o-o-o!!!
I have password in usually BIOS, but I can't to set password in RAID (!) BIOS !!!
If I set password for System (not for Setup) then user can enter in RAID BIOS anyway.
It's different things BIOS and RAID Utilities BIOS.
Please help me someone who knows about booting computer with S-ATA HDD.

    Thanks for "sweethoming" here!

It would sort of help if you told us what kind of a RAID controller you have there..

Not many RAID controllers have a security option. If you can't see it in the RAID BIOS and can't see it in the manual and can't see it in the possible firmware update then it just doesn't exist.

If you can't set a password for your RAID bios, I'd threaten your brother with a swift kick in the nads. No excuse for you to tolerate that from him. :blackeye:

Ok! It's fresh idea: to talk with my little bro. 8)
It's so easy, and it's better then seek RAID BIOS Security Options.
    I realy can't find it.
May be my little brother will be good after ours talking.
    Thank you very much.
Sorry for my english, once again.
It's so difficult: translate russians frases to english language, they have so different logic. I'm not wizard, I only learn to be wizard. 8)
    Thanks all once again! 8)

Tell your little brother, you will send him to a gulag in Siberia, if he ever touches your computer again!

What is gulag? ;) Are u sirious?
Sting:"I hope rusians love chindren too!". Song: "Russians". Album "Fields of Gold"
    It's big mistake!
We have good education and each russian knows where is Pasific Ocean placed. he-he!
And we know about gulags in 30-40 years of XX century.
Wake up! Forget it! Stalin is dead many years before my birthday. he-he!
Pasific Ocean is founded to west of American continent and to east of Eurasia. hehe. Said to Bush about children, who can't read when 15 years old. I hope american love children too.
I don't know why you make russians so ugly. We different. Everyone.
And each russian hate nationalism and facism.
