Dell 4600c heatsink

I hope that someone out there will come up with a solution to this problem.
The heatsink on the motherboard came loose as one of the hooks came out and is lost.Can it be repaired and appropiate parts found without buying a new motherboard? I thank you all for any help.

if you have a dell warranty on the system you can call them and they should replace it with no problem..

Are you talking about the HS on the CPU or on the chipset?

The warrenty is over and the heatsink is on the chip set.

That's easy to replace. You can either epoxy/adhesive the old one on or get a different HS that has clips or epoxy.
