Dell Dimension 8200 on/off switch doesnt work?

I cant turn on my Dell 8200. I normally keep this computer on all the time, but for the last couple of months the on/off switch has been acting up. On the few occasions when I shut it off, I have to play with the switch in order to get it to boot up. Yesterday, I was not able to get the computer to start at all. Has anyone else had this problem, and are there any trouble shooting tips anyone can offer?

Trace the wires from the back of the power button to see if they are broken!!!!

Thanks for the reply, that is great advice. Unfortunately, after taking out all the fixed and removable drives and removing as much all the plates from the front of the computer, I still cannot access the switch! If anyone out there knows how to remove the power button without damaging the case or the board that sits behind the power switch, I would be most grateful. Thanks.
