Dell Error Message

Today I got an error message on my Dell Inspiron 1150 which I've never had before. The message was "Dell wireless card disabled". There was a link that seemed to say click this for a solution and I clicked it. There it told me to use Fn + F2 which brought up a box where one of the choices was "Enable wireless card." I clicked that and that brought up "Disable wireless card" and I left it and restarted my computer. It worked with the wireless. I don't know that I ever disabled the wireless card so what happened? Is this the start of something that is going to recur? I had run AVG shortly before this occurred but when I came back there was a red X over the Zone Alarm and the wireless icons which I'd never seen before. AVG said I had no threats which has been the normal state.

Often there's a small switch to enable / disable Wireless as a power saving measure. Look at the Manual and see if you can locate it. You may have inadvertantly turned it off.
