DeskTop Theater 5.1 DTT200 speaker problems

l have had the above sound system for years but couldn't get it to work.Settled for PC speakers. FF Decided to have another go - sound from 3 x front speakers ....zip from 2 x rear speakers can u help??

have you got all of the cables connected? is the soundcard set up to use the full 5.1 setup, or is it running at a 2.1 level?
