DI-624 router

I have set up the above router. All seems fine but I cannot for the life of me get the IP filters to work. I can enter the MAC address and this works fine but I want to disable my kids computers during certain times (we say goodnight and I hear the keyboards tapping!) Has anyone else had a problem....has anyone else had any luck? Please help I am desperate

Refer to the manual. I have set one up for a friend. Haven't used that feature.

Maybe the kid's computer is renewing its IP so every time it's on, it uses a diff. IP.

Also, there are software firewalls like Kerio (free) that can schedule rules to block any traffic.
