Did my hard drive crash?

  1. My computer just stopped working. I cannot even run my recovery disk. I get a message that says either "cannot find hard drive" or "cannot find operating system". The computer has a Celeron Processor and is three years old. I should probably buy another but don't have the funds right now. Thank you for any help!

    Open your case see if for some reason or another your ribbon cable came loose either from your hdd or motherboard itself.. also check to make sure your jumper pin did not fall off..

    let us know

    What O/S are you running?
