DIEmWin.exe ring any bells?

I was browsing w/ firefox. Spyware Doctor scanning in the background, the AVG started unnoticed, and unscheduled.

Everything came to a screeching halt. I right-clicked on the AVG icon and paused it.

Everything came to a stop, with an hour glass.

After a few minutes, a small window popped up stating that windoze couldn't close DIEmWin,exe.

I clicked the end now button.

Then I clicked the same button for nearly everything else in task manager, which eventually closed down everything to my wallpaper.

I powered down and rebooted to get back to life.

googling for DIEmWin.exe doesn't give back any responses.

Newest toy on the net perhaps?

it doesn't show up in any searches on my computer.

The most I have come up with is this.

I'm pretty sure diemwin is related to ATI graphics. Try updating your graphics drivers.

And this.

atiptaxx.exe (432) DIEmWin

most likely something to shutdown the gfx card process.

The first from a security forum and the second from a gaming forum.
