Difference between 1GB and 512 modules??

Having trouble deciding which memory modules to buy for my new system.

What is better/faster between the following?

- 4 x 512 Geil 2.5 - 8 - 4 - 4

- 2 x 1024 Geil 3 - 8 - 4 - 4


- 4 x 512 OCZ 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 7

- 2 x 1024 OCZ 3 - 3 - 3 - 8

Due to money restrictions I could only afford to go with one

- 1024MB TWINX 3200XLPRO DDR RAM Corsair (2X512MB) 2 - 2 - 2 - 5

Would I be better off going with the 2 GB of Geil/OCZ or 1 GB of Cosair?

What is the advantages of getting

- 2 x 1024MB TWINX 3200XLPRO DDR RAM Corsair (2X512MB)

over getting


- 2 x 1024MB TWINX 3200XL DDR RAM Corsair (2X512MB)

From what I saw the latency is the same, just a few added extras to the PRO.
