I wonder: is it possible to make v.92 56K modems use cleaner, digital signals? What would be the benefits of this type of modem, and would it increase thoroughput? What would be the problem of implementing this type of modem? Is it feasible to do so? Why don't manufacturers use this technology in today's v.92 modems?
