direct3d. problem

i'm having problems with direct3d. as i test it through directx i cannot see the direct x logo and the games that i install does not play. does anyone have had the same problem?
what should i do

Amd Athlon 3200+
asus A8N-VM CSM
Gforce 6150 onboard
Latest drivers intalled
Directx 9.0c

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

First thing to check is that you`ve got the correct drivers installed.

Go to your mobo manufacturers website, and download and install the chipset, and video drivers.
