Directx 9 latest

What do you make of this download ?
This version of DirectX was released November 2007.

I installed the patch a few months ago,but this is the only saved link
I seem to have.But it's still October 2007.

Directx is made by Microsoft, getting it anywhere else could prove harmful to your pc.

I checked there

There are many options at MSoft for DX9 update ,seems more for developers.
I have 9.0c (4.09.000.0904) which seems the latest for average users.
So be carefull and read all the details.

its entirely safe and essential if your a gamer or use cad programs if not.....get it anyway you better off updated.

Its suddenly appeared on the horizon along with some new beta drivers fron Nvidia (169.01) all on the same day day the Crysis demo is released............coincidence?????..............i dont think so
