I'm hoping somebody can help me. I have an Nvidia 6200 graphics card on Windows XP home, and direct X and direct draw refuse to work. I have have the drivers that came with the card installed because supposedly the newest drivers have a bug. Can anybody help me fix this problem?
I have 512mb of ram and just upgraded to a 430w power supply since the card calls for 300w.

If you have any games you should be able to install them and they will prompt you install a newer working version of DX.

I have the most current version of direct x. The problem is when I try to run the dx diag, the direct draw doesn't work, and the 3D test shuts the computer off. I can't even play files in Windows media player without getting booted off.
