Disk Boot Failure

I am using a ASUS A7V8X-X Motherboard. Everytime I go to boot my PC I get a Disk Boot Failure Msg along with hearing 2 beeps in intervals constantly. It tells me also to insert a System Disk which I never created, can someone help me out here? Thanks!

Are you sure my hard drive is bad, I have only had it for a year, and what about all the data on it?

Before you replace your hdd, check to see if the boot sequency is correct in your bois. Refer you your mobo manual for this.

Your system disk is the hard drive you installed Windows on. Your drive may have died if you haven't changed anything in the BIOS. GO into yout BIOS and make sure your Hard drive is the first boot drive and restart your computer. It it still does not boot then you probably have a dead hard drive and need to replace and reinstall.
