I was about to order from newegg
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ "Barton", 400MHz FSB, 512K Cache Processor - Retail
ASUS "A7N8X-E Deluxe" nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU -RETAIL
Kingston HyperX (Dual Pack) 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200
but they were sold out of the 3200+
I am running
AMD 1700+
2 512 PC2700 Kingsten
ATI 9800 PRO 256MB (R360 core)
The card is good, but not running that great due to proc and such.
With above I think should be allright with my 9800 PRO with games,
Main question would be is, should I go and get the AMD64 3200 or 3400 cause the price is about the same, even less for the 3200 or just stick to the XP. I don't really want to wait any longer, just a upgrade now so I can play these games. When the price comes down on the FX or EE i will build my new system.
