Dont have sound cant hear nothing not even a cd

I was turning on my windos media player but i dont have sound i tried o play a cd i couldnt it says i dont have a sound device.It happened after i ran a prgram adaware or spyware i think since that i dont have sound How can i fix it i think theres a file missing or something can some one help me or recommend me?thanks.

Thats the error y comes out i check my sound but it says no sound device i cant even move the curser for advanced nothing like it doesnt exist no more i dont know much but if u can help i will apreciated it if not thanks anyways for your advice take care
