Don't refresh to search if incorrect url - Internet Explorer

I had this registry fix, but have just changed machines and can't find it.

I want to not be refreshed to a new search page if I incorrectly enter a url. What is the fix to just get a whoops, so you can just change the address instead of retyping it over again?

I would advise you to use IE only for Windows updates.
Otherwise install the Firefx browser and use that www.getfirefox.com

Never heard of a fix like that, I'm afraid.
