Dreamweaver 8 eats up flash anims

Hi, I have been using Dreamweaver MX for some times now and I recently have upgraded to version 8. As I keep editing my site and uploading new versions of pages, flash anims, like rollover butons and so on are just vanishing from the pages on the host. the weird thing is that they are visible in Dreamweaver while I am editing and even visible in site preview mode. Is any body having that issue?

It just sounds like the files needed to support the flash animations aren't uploaded to the host.

Thanks for your reply, Yeah that was what I first thought but the files were there!! I did re uploaded them to be sure to be sure but no difference.

you need the whole swf script to load in html
if using php or some other scripting
you need a swf server addon setup to migrate
go to macromedia site should be some dwnlds there for free server apps

the file may need to be executable by user check permissions chmod

Why the difference with Dreamweaver MX?

how do you connect to the testing server
I have noticed that V8 now shows images where MX images where broken
even when I am not connected to site
check out the ftp protocal check passive transfer box
not sure but DW may not be the issue just coincidence
post results of the change back to mx
I have found after an hr or so with V8 my whole system slows dwn
maybe theres a update I will check for that
just dwnld updates will be testing out today
