Hey guys..im having problems playing 3D games under slackware 9.
I downloaded ET ( the free RTcW Game)
and the menu is SOOOOOO slow, it took me 5 minute to get my mouse in the QUIT button to quit.
And i guess i was told because its NOT using DRI?
i installed FGLRX drivers from ATI, and installed them.
I checked my /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 , and it is set to use driver "fglrx"
Now, when i try to install DRI (from the DRI site, for Radeons)
It spits this at me:
Makefile.linux:137: *** Cannot find a kernel config file. Stop.
This is the folder it is wanting to use:
/lib/modules/2.4.20
Checked that directory and it exists, and contains a kernel file and bunch of other stuff.
Any make on this?
Thanks.
Matt
