Driver question

I am upgrading from a Radeon 9600SE to an 9800PRO and was wondering if the 9600's drivers would work with the PRO?

No. You need to uninstall the old drivers and use the latest Catalyst drivers.

i bought the card without any drivers. i should be able to get the drivers and all the necessary software off the ATI site then right?

Yes, you can download the whole package from ATI. All the Radeon drivers are bunched together in one huge zipped file.
