Dual Channel Question

I have a mobo that supports 2 lots of Dual Channel DDR.

I have 2 x 512mb of G.skill Dual Channel Ram 2-3-3-6

My question is because the board takes 2 lots of dual channel do they have to be the same brand or does just the timings have to be the same.

IE, I have 2 x 512mb G.skill 2-3-3-6 and now have 2 x 512mb corsair 2-3-3-6.

Is that ok?

ITS FINE... I try to stay with same brand as possible but in your case its ok...

as long as the MGz... and timings are the same

Yea I would like to stay with the same but G.skill changed there timings to 2.5-3-3-6 but corsair still make 2-3-3-6.

if your mobo is capable , you can always change the timing, but I am not the one to tell you how! Not there yet* ;-)
