I have a liteon DVD-R-W that I can play music with out any problem. I can hear the speaker. Ihave downloaded the update for the sound card. What I can not do, is use the Earphone jack for playing Audio. Would some one Please help me.

Yes I'm trying to use the stereo jack on the front of the dvdrw. My OS is windows xp professional. The sound card is a Creative Labs PCI 128. I have downloaded the updates for it.

Thats the problem then.
I have yet to have even one cdrom/dvdrom
erver have the stereo jack and volume
control work.
If your running speakers and such from
the sound card, you could use a splitter on the main
out port. Thats what I'm doing now with
sb Live 5.1 like THIS
The top one listed.
My head phone are force feed back w/ mic, and all work well.
Let me know how it goes.
