More than two-thirds of the world's population hasn't sanctioned Russia -- you realize that, right?
And they are the same people that wasn't supplying Russia with anything in the first place. What are they going to sanction, the Sun?
Russia's economy is based almost solely on oil, natural gas, and metals -- and they're selling record amounts of all three at present
Lets bookmark this topic and come back to it at the end of the year. Russian exports are about to be nearly abandoned. And no, they are not exporting well, although the finances behind it aren't doing badly because of price increases.:

Was it worth killing 200,000 (three times that if you believe the Lancet figures) innocent civilians to get rid of him?
You tell me. After all, it was right to far-right leaning politicians that made the call to go in even if their reasons were utter BS.
Well, let's see. Iraq never openly threatened to acquire nuclear weapons and attack the US directly, as Ukraine did.
And when did that happen? Or is that some made-up story for which we only have your word? Its a different story from what is told here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukraine_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction
Iraq never cut off the water supply to hundreds of thousands of US citizens, as Ukraine did.
Is that you saying, Just take my word for it, because I vetted it?
Iraq may have given a little to Hamas, but it never funded terror groups organized solely to kill Americans like Ukraine did ethnic Russians.
Hussein was no angel, or do you call using Mustard Gas and other chemical agents on Ethnic Kurds "being kind to them?" https://www.thoughtco.com/top-crimes-of-saddam-hussein-1779933

After Ukraine war and seeing how Russia fared in it and how the Russian image got dented across globe, chances of China attacking Taiwan are at best, slim.
I feel you either underestimated or looking the wrong way. When Russia invaded Ukraine, did the western power do anything other than, (1) giving them monetary aid (which I believe are mostly like a loan than “giving”) that does not really help during war, and, (2) sending them weapons (again, sending them but I believe Ukraine had to pay for them) and some aid? They slapped sanctions left right and center on Russia, but its been more than 100 days since the invasion started. Is it effective in a sense its forced Russia to stand down? In the end, the common people everywhere in the world suffers from the consequences of the war, and further aggravation of the situation due to the sanctions. So who benefits? Isn’t it the rich people that owns business that can now charge you significantly more due to the “shortage”? Is it not the nations that are “sending them weapons” and “lending them money”? In fact, if Russia is shrugging off the sanctions and boycott from the western nations, it just proved how ineffective these measures are, and as a result, make it more attractive for China to follow. Don’t get me wrong, sanctions hurt, but clearly it hurts both the nation that is sanction while also having a global impact due to interdependencies. And if you observe such a big ripple effect the sanctions on Russia is, you can imagine its going to be significantly worst when they sanction China. I am not defending China, but the current sanctions on Russia is prove that its going to hurt the common people badly.

In my opinion, US is not helping with the situation by continuously pouring oil on the fire. Taiwan may think that US is their hero to stand up for them. But these hopes of “protection” is not free. And I feel whatever US is “helping” Taiwan with, I.e. sending forces to Taiwan, selling arms to Taiwan, doing everything contrary to what China warns, is not exactly helping. Why do I say that? Just look back and observe what US is doing in Ukraine now. Russia says no, US will help Ukraine to do exactly the opposite of what Russia warned about, and this I believe should be going on for some time. People may think this is fine, but imagine someone is trying to get close to your partner. You tell him/her to stay away, but instead of complying, they double down on their actions, send gifts, etc, so what would humans naturally do/ feel? If anything, the Russia invasion and US’ provocative actions have basically made the Taiwan invasion more likely.

Russia's image is only dented in the west.

The rest of the world is taking note of USA's bullying tactics AND the fact that Russia hasn't really been hurt by them. (Don't believe me? Google how the ruble is doing)

So powers like China are taking note of the possibility of standing up to the bully and walking away the winner.

Bog off Russian troll or sympathiser. You do realise that in an obtuse way you are justifying atrocities happening in Ukraine committed by Russia?

This isn't the West bullying Russia or even China. It's them being punished for inhumane behaviour.

Yes, quite a lot of the world is selfishly and digustingly sitting this out. 'Not my problem'. Only it will be once China buy up their ports, or Russia decides that they want to assassinate someone in their country.

there will be no war, only invasion...
no country declares war on China "only" for Taiwan
look at Ukraine
That statement makes about as much sense as beer tap on a water-balloon. If China even attempts to invade Taiwan, the US Navy will explain to them the folly of their mindless notion. Just because China doesn't "recognize" the sovereignty of Taiwan doesn't change their sovereignty claim. They are one of the strongest economic partners of many of the nations of the west. They will be strongly defended. Mentioning the Ukraine only shows an ignorance to the particulars of each situation, which are NOT comparable.

Russia is only suffering if you read the pro US press that seems to bring fake news to the front and ignore the real pounding that Ukraine is taking. The Russians are doing very well in achieving their goals to ruin Ukraine and Zelensky is a great actor, US believes him thoroughly....

Best option is to get liberal ID1ot Biden out of the what house. We need a Trump who is not fooled by fake news.
Look at the prices in USA, have you gone to the dollar store lately, nothing for one dollar, and have you gone to the pumps lately? Got a raise, nope.

Nearly all those 'atrocities' were Ukrainian MoD propaganda. Shall we examine a few of their older claims? Raise your hand if you believe any of these ...
* "We killed 400 assassins sent after Zelensky -- but don't have one single body or photograph as evidence"
*" Our defenders of Snake Island fought and died to the last man -- except they all surrendered."
* "Russia's planning to blow up a nuclear reactor and irradiate all Europe -- at a location that ensures Russia and Belarus would receive the majority of the fallout."
* "Russia poisoned our delegates to the peace talks -- but they were too busy to seek medical attention or even to have a simple blood test."
* "Russia intentionally bombed civilians at a train station in Donetsk -- the one area in all Ukraine filled with ethnic Russians, fighting for a decade to free themselves from Ukrainian control."
* "Russia intentionally bombed an 'active maternity hospital' -- without furniture or medical equipment, and one in which its lightly-wounded 'victims' waited until western reporters with cameras arrived to walk out of the rubble."

There are countless others -- some true, but most which don't pass the sniff test from anyone who bothers to engage their brain even minimally. My personal favorite was the photo spread of the ex-Miss Ukraine now fighting to free her homeland -- in revealing clothes and holding an airgun.

You are just puppeting Putin's psychosis in believing that some neighbor of Russia was going to attack Russia... So they had to invade. Lol...

Putin's Russia has been the aggressor for 40 years and His irrational fear of NATO attacking, is why Russia will never join EU.. Until Putin is gone.

Make up your mind. You gave Iraq as an example of a war high on the scale of "right things to do". Now it's suddenly a unjustified war of aggression by "right-leaning US politicians? Which is it?

And when did that happen? ...Is that you saying, Just take my word for it?
Ukraine's statements about reacquire nuclear weapons were made by Zelensky and other members of his government on several occasions, as were Zelensky's statements about withdrawing from the previously agreed-upon Minsk Accords, granting autonomy to Donbas. And their plans to attack Russia directly were codified into Ukraine's official defense strategy document in March of '21. All of this is easily verified -- especially if you read European press regularly:

"Apr 15, 2021: "Ukraine may seek nuclear weapons if left out of NATO ... A Ukrainian diplomat has reportedly warned Kyiv may be forced to acquire nuclear weapons to safeguard the country’s security if NATO does not accede to its membership demand ....Andriy Melnyk, Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany, suggested to national public radio network Deutschlandfunk on Thursday that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s administration was weighing up all possible options...."

I think we all know you are spreading propaganda because Russia has lost 200+ tanks, 3 Generals and many have stepped down/removed because they do Not believe Putin's narrative.

People are going to openly laugh at how little you know about this war.

The whole entire world is against Putin and hope he is removed so the Russian people are no longer victims of his irrational fear.

Putin's Russia has been the aggressor for 40 years and His irrational fear of NATO attacking, is why Russia will never join EU.
Except that the list of sovereign nations NATO has attacked is quite lengthy: Serbia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, etc. All with "good reason" ... at least according to NATO, right?

In the same period of time, Russia has attacked Georgia -- after Georgia first attacked Russian troops in Abkhazia -- and Ukraine, after a lengthy serious of provocations that, despite shoddy western media reporting, exceeds any of the justifications that NATO gave for attacking most of the members of that above list.

I'd also like to point out that, until 30-odd years ago, NATO's officialpolicy was what they called the "anaconda strategy" of encircling Russia as much as possible with NATO bases. Three decades ago NATO gave assurances to Russia that it would not expand eastward -- and then added Poland, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Albania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovakia, and Macedonia. And -- under pressure from the Biden Administration -- was attempting to add Ukraine, giving it the ability to emplace missiles and troops only a few miles from Moscow itself.
