Emachine will not boot

I have an eMachine T2482 my problem first started when the fan and or hard drive came on but only the message from the monitor saying the monitor was ok, check the cable, etc. The next time I booted only the moitor came on and after about a minute the hard drive / fan started and it just sat like that.
Now i press the power switch nothing happens.

when u say nothing happens u mean NOTHING as in press tha button just makes a clicking sound lol and nothing else?

I have the same problem. The emachine T2482 will not boot. Can anyone help me
