Empire earth issues

i got bored and i installed empire earth on the computer i just built... i started her up and for some reason i cant see my units or buildings.... idk if this is under the right forum or not... but im bored and i wanted to play this game... im runnin the 64 bit vista with an ati card with 512 gddr3 sooo it shouldnt b the card... i dont know what else it could be
