Hello, anyone know how to enable onboard VGA and AGP videocard simultaneously, because when i connect the AGP videocard, the onboard VGA seems to automaticly disable.

Here´s my specs,

Pentium D 3.4.
1 MB RAM.
Asus P5VD-MX Mobo.
Visiontek Radeon X1300 AGP videocard.
80 GB IDE HD.

Thanks a lot!

Ralphmex.

hi Ralphmex,

you cannot run both the on-board video and AGP at the same time.

the only reason I can think of why you would want both the onboard video and your AGP card enabled would be to hook up more than 2 monitors (since your X1300 already has 2 video outputs). if that's the case you would need to purchase a second [PCI] video card to go with it, or purchase a quad-ouput [AGP or PCI] video card.

cheers

Yep, i want to connect 3 monitors, thanks for answering, i´ll look for a second videocard to do the job.
Never heard of quad output videocards, gotta take a look at them too.

Thankx,
Ralphmex
